Social Media Management Toronto

Nov 19, 2021

I think all brands recognize that if your not doing some type of social media marketing, then you're losing market share. There is a right way to do this that can be very effective and a wrong way that could produce zero results. Brands will sometimes say "social media marketing doesn't work for our type of business". The truth is that it works for all businesses and is where your audience is whether you see that or not. The reason it's "not working" for you, is because your strategy is off. You could be too promotional, your content may be poor or not valued by your audience. This is where you really have to get honest with yourself in order to cater the messaging and creative to what your community values.

There are two ways you can go about social media marketing. You can do it in-house with your existing team or you can outsource it to social media agency. There are pros and cons to each, so before you decide you;ll want to ask yourself the following:

1. Do we have the time and bandwidth to do this?

2. Do we have the expertise and know-how to be effective?

3. Do we have the resources to create content and publish it consistently daily, weekly and monthly?

4. Do we have the right tools in place to track and measure what's working and what's not?

There's a lot to creating successful social marketing strategies, however if you start with the fundamentals, then you can quickly determine what will work best for your business. The question isn;t if you need social media strategy anymore, it's how do you plan on differentiating yourself from compeition and building genuine connections with your community.
