Launch the She’s Mercedes global platform in Canada in a way that showcases the brand’s support towards women through content and experiences that inspire, connect, and empower women to unleash their best with a full-year plan including both organic and paid executions.

The Approach

The She’s Mercedes Power Suit Project was launched on International Women’s Day 2021 to introduce Canadians to the She’s Mercedes platform. In collaboration with Canadian fashion label, Pink Tartan, and three accomplished Canadian women (Melissa Grelo, Stacey McKenzie, Mitsou Gelinas) the Power Suit Project designed a limited edition collection of power suits designed by the women that project power, confidence and their individual style. To promote the launch of this campaign P&C organized a tiered launch including paid integrated media partnerships with ELLE Canada and The Social, an exclusive virtual media preview event, paid influencer amplification, influencer gifting and traditional media relations. To add a CSR component, a portion of each sale was then donated to Dress for Success, a global non-profit organization that provides professional attire to low-income women, helping to support them in the job search and interview processes.

The Impact

20 pieces of earned and 10 pieces of paid coverage across print, online and broadcast media, including ELLE Canada, Clin D'oeil, eTalk, Globe and Mail Style, and Fashion Magazine, resulting in over 21 million impressions. 60 static posts on social media and 130 stories resulting in over 12.5 million impressions.
